What to Expect
Whether this is your first experience with therapy or if you've seen a counselor before, beginning a new therapeutic journey can be scary. When we start the counseling process, we will address any fears or concerns you may have. My role is to be a non-judgmental listener who can help you sort through your thoughts and emotions. I will not give you advice or tell you what to do, but rather sit with you through whatever you may be experiencing. You are the leader in our journey towards wellness and we will work on the goals that you set for yourself. While I am not the expert of YOUR life, I am an expert in communication and coping techniques which I can share with you in order to build on your ability to strengthen relationships in your life.
